Ingredients
-
1 can (10-count) Pillsbury Grands biscuits
-
3 slices bacon, chopped
-
½ onion, finely diced
-
Kosher salt & black pepper, to taste
-
2 tbsp ketchup
-
2 tbsp barbecue sauce
-
1 tsp yellow mustard
-
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
-
85g (about 3 oz) cream cheese
-
5 oz sharp cheddar, cut into 10 cubes
-
1 egg white, beaten
-
Sesame seeds (optional)
-
Dill pickle chips (optional, for serving)
Instructions
-
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
-
In a skillet over medium heat, brown ground beef, bacon, and onion until cooked through. Season generously with salt and pepper. Drain excess grease.
-
Lower the heat and stir in ketchup, BBQ sauce, mustard, Worcestershire, and cream cheese. Mix until creamy and combined. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
-
Flatten each biscuit into a thin round on a lightly floured surface. Scoop 2 tablespoons of the meat mixture into the center, top with a cube of cheddar, and carefully wrap the dough around the filling. Pinch seams tightly.
-
Place seam-side down on the baking sheet. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds, if desired.
-
Place in oven and immediately reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C). Bake for 13–16 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed.
-
Serve warm, with pickles on the side for that classic burger bite.
